Mission

Thrive International is a Spokane-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering multicultural communities, particularly refugees and immigrants, to transition from surviving to thriving. Through comprehensive support services, Thrive aims to foster healing, hope, and new beginnings for displaced individuals and families.

History

Founded in late 2021, Thrive International rapidly mobilized to address the needs of refugees, notably serving over 1,000 Ukrainian refugees in 2022. The organization transformed a vacant Quality Inn hotel into the Thrive Center Spokane, the city's first transitional refugee housing facility.

Programs and Services

Transitional Housing

Thrive Center Spokane offers 153 rooms, providing safe and affordable housing for refugee and immigrant families. The facility includes event spaces, a commercial kitchen, and dining areas, serving as both a residence and community hub.

Women's Empowerment Program

Youth Empowerment Program

Cultural Integration

Through various initiatives, Thrive fosters cultural exchange and understanding, helping refugees and immigrants integrate into the broader community while preserving their cultural identities.
