Spectrum envisions being the primary change agent for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community by advocating for social progress in Eastern Washington. The organization supports a thriving and diverse population through education, social events, services, social activism, visibility, and by uplifting and collaborating with other organizations.

History

Founded in 2018, Spectrum Center Spokane emerged to address the need for inclusive, non-alcohol-centric spaces for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Spokane. Despite launching during the challenges of 2020, Spectrum secured initial funding, achieved 501(c)(3) status, and expanded its team to implement remote programming.
