Mission
The Hispanic Business/Professional Association (HBPA) is dedicated to promoting and serving business growth, professional development, educational opportunities, cultural preservation, and social justice for the Hispanic/Latinx community in the Inland Northwest.
History
Established in 1979, HBPA has been a cornerstone for the Hispanic/Latinx community in Spokane, providing support and resources to foster economic and educational advancement. Over the years, HBPA has expanded its reach, establishing Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario to address broader community needs.
Programs and Services
Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario
A 501(c)(3) organization founded by HBPA, Nuestras Raíces focuses on addressing social determinants of health by providing services that promote economic security, education access, and overall community well-being.
Scholarships
Since 1993, HBPA has awarded scholarships to local youth of Hispanic heritage, supporting their pursuit of higher education.
Business Support
HBPA offers business consultations, technical assistance, and financial support to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, aiding them in navigating licensing, certifications, and networking opportunities.
Community Outreach
